This year, Neshaminy hosted TruMark Financial Credit Union’s “Kiss a Pig” fundraiser, a campaign throughout the Philadelphia and Bucks County areas to raise money to encourage financial literacy.

Head principal Rob McGee won this year.

Last year’s victor, Business teacher Janet Dougherty expresses the importance of financial intelligence at a young age.

“A person cannot be too young to prepare financially for life. Financial literacy can help students avoid unthoughtful spending, start them on a path to using investment options and demonstrate that sound money management decisions can build financial freedom over time. This independence allows you to lead the lifestyle you want to live,” Dougherty said.
