The Neshaminy nature club starts up September 23 and meets in D107 at 2:45. The club advisor is Brian Suter , the AP environmental science teacher. Nature club is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about their local ecosystem, or is competitive and looking for an honorable achievement.
The club participates in the Envirothon, a competition where groups of five students are tested on their natural knowledge. Neshaminy has dominated the county level envirothon and proceeded to the state level almost every year, as evident by the multitude of banners along the first floor of the D wing and inside the display case. Anyone who wants to join this club is welcome; to compete or just to learn how to identify wildlife and become informed of current issues of our state.
