Interact club ensures warm winters through pajama drive

By Makenzie Mason

Neshaminy’s Interact Club will be ensuring warmth during the cold winter nights for many less fortunate children during their pajama drive. Everyone is encouraged to donate any sized pajamas and submit them to the main office, room G213 or the English IPC.

The club is also introducing a very exciting partnership with the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia that will give members of the Interact club new experiences and opportunities to help the Philadelphia community and surrounding areas. “We got to meet two physical therapy dogs at a club meeting one day. It was so interesting to see how gentle these dogs were and how much they helped with the healing process for so many sick patients,” junior, Kailin Brooks, said.

Through the Ronald McDonald house there will be zany Ronald McDonald themed socks available for purchase to any student or staff member. All proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald house. In late the January students will have the opportunity to sport these socks during the “Neshaminy, show us your socks day” sponsored by the Interact Club.
