1. Filet Mignon
Ignoring any gross mess it may make, this pricey meat has found its way into bags and coats all over the country. Feeding families and store debt, and putting jail time at ‘steak,’ filet mignon ranks the number one thing stolen during the holiday season.

2. Hard Liquor
Sneaky shoppers everywhere, enforcing the “ye old five finger discount” are putting a little captain into their holidays. A little eggnog anyone? Of course not, underage drinking and stealing are wrong.

3. Toothbrushes and toothpaste

4. Handheld Electronics
Companies may say “the smaller the better,” but the stores sure don’t! High in price and small in size these
handhelds are living up to their name while thieves walk out with them in hand.

5. Razors and shaving products
Holiday shoppers are shaving off some of their holiday budget, and their No Shave November beards by shoplifting razors and shaving products.

6. Deodorant
With all the caroling, and spreading of cheer, shoppers are treating themselves to a shower fresh scent with deodorant coming in at number six. After all, holiday stress is enough to break a sweat!

7. Clothing
Amongst the pressure to give the best gift, there is always pressure to look great too! Rather than waiting in lines with all the law-abiders, shoppers are walking out in fresh new outfits geared toward the holiday festivities.

8. Hot Toys

Whether it be dancing Elmo, or the new LeapPad, shoppers are sure taking the opportunity to leap out of the store with the hottest toys this season.

9. Perfume
A strong whiff of ginger bread, or candy cane mint may be the source of a shopping day sprint! At number nine, highly desired perfumes are making the list.

10. Sneakers

Shoppers making the last minute dash to stores are running off with a new pair of sneakers, and possible guilt, as the last on the top ten list of weird things stolen during the holidays.
