Sophomore Matthew Cruz is in recovery, and is recovering amazingly to say the least. After a bus accident on his way home from visiting Harvard University, with many thanks to the Destined for a Dream Foundation, in Boston this past February that left him paralyzed from the chest down, he is in high hopes to be home in Bucks County soon.

Many fundraisers to help the family cope with many new adjustments to their home are in place, including one on May 11 at Our Lady of Grace School in Penndel, PA at 7:00. This coffeehouse fundraiser will be featuring performances from some of Neshaminy’s greatest talents with refreshments. The cost is $5 at the door.

After being bounced from Massachusetts General Hosptial, to Jefferson Hopsital, to now Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, Cruz is in hopes of being home by the summer.
