Justin Andrews, pitcher, outfielder and an outstanding athlete who leaves everything on the field. “Justin has been an extremely special student-athlete here at Neshaminy. He’s been a four year varsity starter on the diamond and a major contributor as a receiver on the football field.”
Upon entering Neshaminy in his freshman year, Andrews excelled on the diamond and was put on the varsity team immediately and has been an essential part of the team ever since. Playing the outfield with incredible speed, and pitching lefty on the mound, Andrews is always captivating the crowd.
After three years at Neshaminy Andrews enters his final year as a ‘Skin. “The Neshaminy coaches have helped me improve my pitching and helped me develop mentally to make me a leader,” Andrews said. Having committed to Monmouth University Andrews should have no trouble becoming a leader as he already possess the skills required.
Coming off to a great start this season Andrews has three wins and no losses on the mound and already has two homeruns and six runs batted in. Disappointed last year, Andrews is very hopeful for this year’s chances in the playoffs. “Since my freshman year I have been on varsity, played with a lot of different classes, but this year we’re going to take it far,” Andrews said.
Andrews and his team have taken it upon themselves to immediately start the season off at full speed. With only one loss, the ‘Skins are looking promising for the playoffs. The dedication and talent of Andrews combined with the talented coaching staff and players, the Neshaminy ‘Skins could go all the way this year.
