It’s been three long years since the teenage heartthrob music trio, the Jonas Brothers, have had a concert. Joe and Nick went off on their own- Joe with his Fast Life solo album, and Nick with his band The Administration- and Kevin getting married late in 2010.

However, on Oct. 11, 2012 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City the boys engaged in a one night only performance, a tease to their unspecified, upcoming tour.

The famous brothers have been stealing teenage girls’ hearts since Aug. of 2007, starting off their music career with their hit single, “S.O.S”, scoring a number one spot on iTunes. Since then, The JoBros have received over 40 gold and platinum records and won over 50 awards.

During their Oct. 11 performance, they kicked off the show with their popular song “When You Look Me In The Eyes” and played many of their other old songs such as “Hold On”, “Fly With Me”, “Much Better” and “That’s Just the Way We Roll”.

“The energy was at its max, but it busted the dial by the time Joe played his Fast Life solo track “Just in Love”. Nick’s solo work got some time as well when the guys performed his “Who I Am.” said Jocelyn Vena in her Oct. 12, 2012 “Jonas Brothers Debut New Songs At Reunion Show” article.

In addition to some of their nostalgic music, the creative trio covered a few of the nation’s most current songs such as Fun.’s “We Are Young” and Rhianna’s We Found Love”. What fans were really excited about, though, was their new music they debuted!

During the show, Kevin, Nick, and Joe released three totally new songs, one of them being “Wedding Bells”, a song supposedly written about Nick’s ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus. The other two being “Let’s Go”, a club-like, upbeat song everyone will want to dance to, and “First Time”, about a taking advantage of a memorable moment. What makes “First Time” different from their past songs is that Kevin gets a singing solo in this song, something that has never happened before, proving just how much they’ve grown.

To unfortunately put an end to the much anticipated reunion, the boys started closing the show with some of their biggest hits of their career such as Nick’s very personal song about his type 1 diabetes, “A Little Bit Longer”, The Beatles inspired song “Lovebug”, and their number one hit single, “S.O.S”.

Of course Kevin, Nick and Joe came out for an encore to finally end the show. They ended the show on a wonderful note, literally, as they performed a fan favorite, “Burnin’ Up”, really bringing the dedicated Jonas Fans back to life.

“I’m really stoked about their new album and the rumors about a possible tour. Fans have been waiting a while for this to happen, and they’ve really matured, so this album should be the best one yet. If I end up going to their concert, I just hope they play ‘Year 3000’ because that’s the first song I’ve ever heard by them and I love it, haha,” Kayli McGlynn, junior at Neshaminy High School, exclaimed.

Although they’re planning on touring soon, still without set dates, based on the reaction of the fans from their recent show and the concert reviews, the wait won’t be very long.
