Preparation begins across Neshaminy

Neshaminy is victorious! Due to the inclement weather, the final game of Neshaminy’s football schedule was rescheduled to Monday, November 1st. The boys pulled out a nail-biting win; scoring 17-16. Simultaneously, Neshaminy achieved a bigger win: raising money for pediatric cancer patients.

Despite the football feud, Neshaminy and Pennsbury Mini-THON committees teamed up “For the Kids”. To kick off the rival game week, the committees hosted a Neshaminy vs. Pennsbury Chick-Fil-A Fundraiser which raised hundreds of dollars; Neshaminy crushed Pennsbury in sales.

At the game, the Neshaminy student section dressed in all white. Many wore the Beat Pennsbury gear sold by the Mini-THON committee. After the first quarter, Neshaminy students ran through the stands to collect donations for the Mini-THON booth. The great partnership between the two schools, and the amazing support from Neshaminy resulted in countless funds raised for Mini-THON which will take place in January.

Baby powder and confetti cannons submerged students and players as their last game of the season came to a close. The night was electrifying and marked a win for both Neshaminy’s football team and the Mini-THON committee. #FTK
