Born to Romanian immigrant parents, Stan Lee had created a small comic book publishing company. The famous American comic book writer had long ago turned his small family-owned business into what is known today as Marvel Comics. He created many of our beloved superheroes, including Spiderman, the Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man. Lee was well known for making cameo appearances in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Marvel co-creator Stan Lee passed away at age 95. Apart from his success, many are unaware that Lee had fought in World War II; He was a lineman for the Signal Corps. Additionally, Lee founded the Stan Lee Foundation in 2010 to support programs that gave access to literacy resources, promoted diversity, and encouraged culture and the arts.
