La série premier de la français election présidentielle va a le 23 de avril, 2017,  Socialiste François Hollande, le président actuel, a decline se présenter pour un mandat deuxième.  Les chefs actuels sont ex-premier ministre François Fillon, Marine Le Pen dans la front Nationale, et ex-ministre de l’économie, Emmanuel Macron, pour le En Marche! organisation.

François Fillon a été premier ministre pour 2007 a 2012, dessous president Nicolas Sarkozy.  S’il est élu, ses objectifs principaux est reduire le secteur public et couper 500,000 travails.  Une Margaret Thatcher françois, Fillon veut réduire la taille dans l’etat et augmenter l’âge pour retraite a 65.

Marine Le Pen est le président dans la Front Nationale, le parti conservateur de la France.  Un ex-avocat, Le Pen est oppose a le commerce libre et autarue.  Elle croit que le protectionnisme est dans les intérêts bonnes pour France.

Emanuel Macron a été le ministre de l’economie, industrie, et affaires numériques dans le “Second Valls Gouvernement” pour 2014 a 2016.  Comme ministre, Macron a poussé pour réforme pro-commerce.  Macron veut “dégager France.”  Un Bernie Sanders francais, Macron parle de course pour president un “revolution democratique.”

The first round of the French presidential election will be held on April 23, 2017. Current socialist president Francois Hollande declined to run for a second term. Current leaders in the polls are former Prime Minister Francois Fillon, a Republican, Marine Le Pen, on the National Front, and former Minister for the Economy Emmanuel Macron, for the new En Marche! Organization.

Francois Fillon served as Prime Minister from 2007 to 2012, under President Nicolas Sarkozy.  If elected, his main goals are to reduce the public sector and cut 500,000 civil-service jobs.  A French Margaret Thatcher, Fillon also wishes to reduce the size of the state and to increase the retirement age to 65.

Marine Le Pen currently serves as the president of the National front, the conservative party of France.  A former attorney, Le Pen is openly opposed to free trade and autarky and believes that protectionism is in France’s best interests.

Emmanuel Macron served as the Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs in the Second Valls Government from 2014 to 2016.  As Minister, Macron pushed forward pro-business reform, even while facing opposition in the parliament.  Macron wishes to “unblock France,” calling his run for president a “democratic revolution.”
