As the spring sports season wraps up at Neshaminy High School (NHS), NHS varsity baseball senior Brandon Lall is making the best of his final season and setting the bar high for underclassmen.
The third baseman, Lall is determined to close out his senior season with a state championship win for his team. With the varsity team at a current 14-5 overall record, this goal doesn’t seem far out of reach. As a varsity team captain and a Division I Monmouth University commit, Lall’s accomplishments over his past four years have never failed to impress viewers and coaches, and most importantly, his teammates.
While Lall has many achievements as a result of his determination to the sport, he emphasizes the people that brought his success.
“I most credit my Dad, Jerry Salzano, Heath Fillmyer, Dave Amaro, and Dan Toner,” Lall expressed. Lall’s accomplishments throughout his baseball career, from his first team all league third basemen SOL patriot division title, to his Division I commitment, Lall greatly credits his coaches and his dad, who first got him into baseball. “My dad first got me into baseball at a young age, and through coaching and parenting, he kept me inspired to play,” Lall highlighted. “He has instilled a good work ethic and mindset in me from a young age.”
While the varsity captain tremendously acknowledges all of the coaches and role models that have aided him, he steps into what will be the end of the beginning of his baseball career. Lall prepares for a fresh start at Monmouth University to major in business, and hopefully start as a freshman for the Monmouth University baseball team.
