With his Together We Dance Foundation, which operates in Bucks County, Pa., Mike Barnes creates spaces of acceptance and togetherness that allow the community to come together and support one another through various events geared towards special needs individuals, fostering inclusion for all.
Recently, they have hosted events ranging from wagon rides at Shady Brook Farms to donation campaigns with huge prizes. The foundation aims to raise money to equip, provide, and empower special needs children and those with disabilities.
Recently, the foundation has launched a campaign aiming for 50 donors to send one winner to Clearwater, Florida, for three nights to watch the Philadelphia Phillies’ spring training in March 2026.
Furthermore, due to the Eagles recently winning the NFC East Champions title, the organization hosted a donation campaign with a $100 entry fee for a chance to win 10 different prizes, including a season ticket, postseason ticket, and a pair of game tickets for each Eagles game during the 2026 football season.
Together We Dance is about so much more than just prizes; it encompasses what it means to be a part of a community where everyone is accepted.
The foundation provides children with opportunities for community engagement and participation in lively events, accommodating both children with special needs and those who wish to volunteer, fostering community support with each event held.
Beyond events, the organization provides a lasting impact on individuals with its welcoming environment, where all children feel included. Together We Dance actively breaks down barriers of belonging and emphasizes connection, acceptance, and joy, uplifting children and strengthening the community altogether.
