To celebrate the 20 anniversary of the Pokémon, Nintendo confirmed the existence of two new Pokémon games-“Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon.”

The confirmation of the new titles marks the seventh generation for the games and fans worldwide in a frenzy.

In the promotional video, quick, split second shots of animation from the new games are visible. Some fans have already begun theorizing what real life region is serving as the basis for Sun and Moon.

The most popular one so far is the Mediterranean. The theory is based off the tall building and fountain seen in the promotional video. Due to the pictures of vehicles resembling Jeeps, some fans also believe that players will be able to drive their character around in-game.

Longtime fan and Neshaminy alumni Austin Bucci stated that he wants to see new Pokémon and a new storyline to accompany the new setting.

In addition to the new games, Nintendo also released the original Pokémon games for the 3Ds. They will be available on the eShop as of Feb. 27.
