Taylor Swift fans, aka “Swifties”, have been caught up in the Eras Tour for weeks now. However, that doesn’t mean that Swift wasn’t still working on other projects behind the scenes.

Her latest album, “Midnights,” was released in Oct. 2022. Swift also released a deluxe version of the album, called “Midnights (3AM Edition),” that came out the same night.

On May 24, 2023, at approximately 12:59 P.M., she announced that a new deluxe version of the album would be released. This version, entitled “Midnights (Til Dawn Edition),” would be out at midnight the night of May 25.

This new album would consist of a new version of her song “Karma”, now featuring rapper Ice Spice. It would also highlight another version of “Snow On The Beach” featuring Lana Del Ray. While Del Ray was already featured on the standard version of the song, fans had complained and joked about the fact that only Swift could be heard on the track.

On this point, Swift stated, “You asked for it, we listened: Lana and I went back into the studio specifically to record more Lana on Snow On The Beach.”

This version would be called “Snow On The Beach (Feat. More Lana Del Ray)”.

Another song that would be on this new version of the album is “Hits Different.” This song was a bonus track on the Target Exclusive CD of “Midnights” and had not been released on streaming services before.

And there’s more. Fans attending any of her East Rutherford, New Jersey, shows this upcoming weekend will be able to get a special edition of “Midnights” that features another new song, “You’re Losing Me.”

“You’re Losing Me” was a track from the “Midnights” album’s “vault”, which means it was a song that was almost on the “Midnights” tracklist, but in the end was not. The fact that it’s considered a “vault” track means it was definitely close to being on the album. It is unknown if or when this track will be available on streaming services.

This announcement caught many swifties off-guard, but made them very excited for what else Swift could have up her sleeve. Have fun streaming!
