Are you in love with France, Madrid or Morocco? If so, consider traveling with Neshaminy High School to these colorful places in the summer of 2016.

The trip will be about two weeks during the end of June into the beginning of July, so there will be plenty of opportunities for exploration, shopping and sightseeing throughout.

The cost of this trip will be $3,800. This price includes round trip airfare, hotels, breakfast, dinner, a full time tour director, local city guides, entrance fees to museums and insurance.

There will be abundant fundraising opportunities coming up in the next few months into next year to help students pay for the trip. While this price may seem a bit hefty, it will certainly be justified by the vibrant experiences that will be endured on this trip.

“Traveling and seeing two countries in Europe, what is there not to gain?  There will be many once in a lifetime experiences for example:  seeing the Eiffel Tower, visiting the Louvre and Prado Museums, riding a camel in Morocco, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar and so much more.  I could go on for hours about the food, the culture, the architecture and the people that we will encounter,” said Senior Kain, the overseer of the trip.

Students who are interested in traveling are recommended to be in a language course. There will be one chaperone for every six students.

“This will not be a leisurely vacation,” Kain said at the informational meeting on Tuesday March 11. “We will be getting up and going, and not coming back to the hotel until late at night”.

Students will be doing a lot of walking and sight-seeing, taking public transportation, communicating with locals and being responsible for their luggage from the Philadelphia International airport, and back. The flight to France will be about eight to nine hours. “This trip sounds awesome,” said Megan Cleary, French teacher.

The first deposit is $95.00 and payment plans will be available. Students are advised to listen to their language teachers, or the morning announcements for more information. This trip enables students to learn about the diverse world around them.
